Our true nature, from where do we come, who are we?
The scaremongering has been thoroughly covered now but I make no apologies for it. The truth of it is evident all around us, we only have to look. Many of you may think it is not that important anyway because major disaster hasn’t happened yet and it may never and even if it does you’ve done all right so far and life is only short. Many believe that this life is all they have so why not take as much as you can whilst you can. You’re a long time dead. Granted this is a fairly selfish view point but humans are a selfish species.
Why paragraph one of this chapter is a ‘red herring’’
Wouldn’t it be nice if this life was all we had? We could take and do as much as we liked before death without a care in the world. Death might frighten us but it only happens once – then bang! You’re gone. Unfortunately for those who believe that there will be quite a culture shock at the end. It isn’t that easy. If it was there would be no balance and balance is a natural law. You never die. You are eternal. You are pure energy, you are consciousness, you are mind. Your body does die, it is just a vehicle, a means to an end, a potential for learning and growth. You have had many vehicles on your journey through eternity and no doubt many more to come. We are energy, we are spirit. One door closes another opens and we return to our natural state. A good way of explaining it is to say we are spiritual beings having a human experience not human beings having a spiritual experience.
You do not have to believe this but keep an open mind and keep it in your mind as a possibility.
Therefore, it truly does matter how you live this life. You are judged on it – by yourself and most of us are very hard task masters when it comes to ourselves. We know how to live. We come in with that knowledge. All of us know the difference between right and wrong, even the mentally challenged and those lacking empathy. Also, we have to balance our wrong doings and since balance is a natural law and state it will come at some point no matter how long it takes. So, you’re in for the long haul, there is no easy way out. Therefore, be kind to yourself, be caring, be loving and your journey through eternity will become lighter, happier, more joyful and I wish that for all of you and myself also.
We return to the physical at a later point and many of you may well be back on Planet Earth. What state will you find her in on your return, what kind of life will you have?
Do you now see how important it is for you, personally, to start treating Mother Earth with respect? Stop ravaging and abusing her, stop polluting her, stop killing her beautiful inhabitants, stop dumping violent and abusive waste in her bowels. She hates it and if she stops loving you, she may sweep you aside permanently. This fairy-tale type ending is a good point to conclude Step 2 for it introduces Step 3 which deals with mind and consciousness.
