YOU (AND ME)
This chapter should really read You and Me (and everything else) because ultimately everything is one. Right now, that might be one concept too many so let’s stay with You and Me.
I say You are me, I am you, we are no different. What exactly am I talking about? What is the precise point I am making? The point I am making is exactly that. If we are individualised concepts, aspects, expressions of the creator’s mind and I believe we are, then we are the same – identical twins. The only thing that makes us different are our experiences, our resulting actions and our beliefs in the playground (the physical).
I like to explain in pictures. It makes things easier to understand. Please to not take offence. There is no condescension here. I liken our souls to raindrops and the ocean as the source. The energetic world, the world from where the physical unfolds, enfolds, materialises, takes shape, comes into being. We know raindrops are an individualised expression of the ocean, each one the same but on close examination slightly different, unique, as are ice crystals which is the same form in a frozen rather than liquid state.
The raindrop, like our soul, can have all sorts of different experiences along the way which can affect its energetic output, its natural beauty and perfection. It could be polluted, swept this way and that, by the influences around it. It could join others to increase its size and energy, creating a group responsibility or it could shine in its singular purity, taking on more natural energy and even take on glorious colour.
When it returns home (to the ocean) and joins the oneness will it be any different from any other drop? It is now in its natural state, part of the ocean, the whole, the oneness. I believe our soul (spirit) is like that. The same and yet unique and ultimately perfect.
I have been told that when our spirit is sufficiently wise and loving we return and meld with the creator mind, in absolute bliss. In other words, from perfection were we created and to perfection we return. The journey may be long but what matter in eternity. The trick is to be happy and enjoy every experience along the way if we possibly can. My own feeling is if unconditional love is your motivator and your goal, this happiness and joy are inevitable.
P.S.
As I am stickler for the truth, I must add this footnote. The above is a simplification of the realities around us. A picture to try and help us understand. What is actually going on is much more complex, subtle and beyond my present comprehension.
I know there is the reality of mind, the creation of the physical from the energetic soup (the ocean) and since all the physical comes from the same source everything in essence is one.
Then there is the way spirit comes to body and the other levels spiritual and otherwise beyond the physical, beyond space and time and the other realities and dimensions. These are all still concepts, aspects, expressions of the creator mind but of these my understanding, at this point, is so limited it would not be worth me offering an opinion.
I know the energetic soup of the physically creating potential is living – conscious (an aspect of mind) and therefore the physical realities created from it (the many worlds, universe and their contents) are also living, conscious. Energy, after all, takes shape, changes but can never be destroyed.
The spiritual levels, at this moment in time are beyond me.
P.P.S.
Do not let this deter you in any way from having confidence in what has been said thus far. It stands and has truth but is only a small part of a very much larger picture. We as humans are not too advanced on the spiritual ladder. We are going in the right direction but our wisdom levels are somewhat limited.
Do not worry about this. What an exciting journey gradually finding out is going to be.
I for one, look forward to the future immensely. I am eternal. Time is of no consequence. I just hope there will always be a beautiful, physical planet called Earth, vibrant with life, plant and animal in it. (At least for a very long time). No star is eternal. (Its spirit is.)
