YOU AND RELIGION
The exclusivity of certain religious are their downfall. They create clubs you can only get in if you’ve got the pass (the ticket) which in our case as humans is a set of beliefs.
There are no clubs. What goes on is available to all from the Saint to the extreme Sinner. God doesn’t judge. He is all-embracing. The sun shines on all regardless of their level.
Unconditional love doesn’t judge. It is all embracing. The danger of believing you have a pass or a ticket is that it negates the need for good action and action is what we are judged on (by ourselves). It is what you do, not what you think, that counts in your experience in the physical. In other words how you treat others and others as I have laboured includes not just the people but everything.
I have to tread very carefully here and handle you with kid gloves. We are so ready to dismiss, so ready to judge if somebody doesn’t live up to our expectations. One wrong word or action can be enough for many of us to dismiss the other 99 that may have been right. (This is not balance).
I do not want to lose any of you. I need you all. The Planet needs you all.
Religion is such an emotive area and that is why I have left it till last. When you think of the vast amount of evil that has been done and is still being done in the name of God and Religion you must realise we have a problem here.
There are so many different religions, so many different sets of rules. (They can’t all be right). If you are religious you will believe your set of rules is the right one, the one with the pass.
Let me put another perspective on it. Let me try to get beyond your blind faith. Religions and their rules are man-made. They are of the earth – a human concept. They did not come from God. Originally, they were intended to make us better, to address our lower urges and that, in itself, is fair enough. If it helps use it. Many of them use similar words, have similar views, much the same as my views. They talk of love, of caring, of putting the other person first. Some very advanced souls have come to earth to help us and from their teachings, religions have been formed and rules have been made (but by us, not them, the people they leave behind). The rules increase in number and are used as a means of control. You must do it this way or else. Then come the control freaks, the manipulators and the killing. Of course, we are always acting on behalf of God. Somebody always wins a war, usually the man with the biggest gun. God of course must be on their side. Do you see the problem, the nonsense?
God takes no sides as all are his creation, one not more important than the next. His love goes out to all regardless of race, creed or belief. He does not need your love, your adoration or even your belief. He is beyond that but he does want you to behave well and love one another. In that way his beautiful thoughts are protected.
God is not religious – humans are religious.
MY OWN VIEW
My own views on religion (like money) are neutral and like money they can either promote good or bad action and like money I don’t perceive them to be necessary.
I do not need anybody else’s set of rules to know how to behave (live). I came in with that knowledge. It has taken a considerable time for me to fully understand this. I, like you, like Jesus are subject to our conditioning. We are all children of our generations and we have to find truth for ourselves.
This is much harder today than it was when Jesus was here. Today we know so much more about the science of our reality. It is complex and challenging and often beyond many of us. Thus, it can so easily be used as a smoke-screen to hide truth.
The Spiritual Laws are simple, few and never change and love is at the heart of them.
Whatever you believe, whatever church you go to, if you are a good person, trying to help and you do no meaningful hurt then you are going in the right direction and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.
